A safe and nurturing learning environment for your child!
Through play, our children learn about problem solving, using their imagination, respect and working together, all while having fun in our caring and supportive environment. We offer 3 year old and 4 year old Kindergarten programs in our wonderful facilities, creating a great place to support and extend your child’s development and learning.
Children are given a voice and the power to make some decisions in our program, as we believe this produces a variety of rich and meaningful experiences. Kindergarten is a very exciting time for the children and their families and we aim for all to have very happy memories of their time at Dover Street Preschool.
Facilities and Services
- SPACE TO EXPLORE
We have large indoor and outdoor play spaces so that children have plenty of room to move and explore. Our environment supports social, emotional, cognitive, physical, technological and creative learning
- MULTI-CULTURAL
We are proud to provide a multicultural program and include different cultures into the early childhood curriculum. We also celebrate a variety of cultural events and holidays throughout the year.
- LOCAL EXCURSIONS
Excursions are a key part of our curriculum at Dover Street Preschool. Venturing out into the local area on foot allows children to explore the world around them, and feel a part of a community.
- SAFETY IN THE SUN
At Dover Street Preschool, we are very conscious of keeping our staff and children safe in the sun; therefore we are official participants in the SunSmart program.
- SCHOOL READINESS
We run a program to help children cope with this exciting and challenging period of change. Partnering with our local primary school, the children have the opportunity to visit and interact with students.
