Orbost Preschool was opened in 1963 through the
generous support of the local community – over the years it has continued to
receive huge support and remains a community kindergarten at
heart.
Our kindergarten aims to provide high quality
education and care in a warm, caring and supportive environment, where children
are able to access an indoor outdoor program promoting physical and mental
wellbeing.
Our kindergarten values sustained and
purposeful play and our program is guided by the National Early Years Learning
Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development
Framework.
We are committed to providing children with
high quality education which will support a positive transition to
school.
Parents and family involvement is seen
as integral to children’s ongoing learning.
