Fees and Benefits

The provision of kindergarten programs is partly funded by the State Government with the balance of funds required coming from fees paid by parents.

Pre-Kindergarten (3 Year Old Kindergarten) is not funded by the State Government and is therefore totally reliant on fees paid by parents.

YEYM sets the fees as part of the budgeting process each year. Our Fees Policy is here

Kindergarten Fee Subsidy: Families whose child is attending a Funded Kindergarten Program (4-5 year olds) who are eligible for the Kindergarten Fee Subsidy, will not be required to pay fees for this program.

We do not receive any Government funding for Pre-Kinder Programs, so full fees apply to all families.

Our Fees Policy is here.

For children who meet the criteria, the following assistance with fees is available:

Inverloch and District Preschool

Inverloch and District Pre-School is located in the beautiful coastal town of Inverloch, in the Bass Coast Shire and services families within Inverloch and the surrounding district.
The Kindergarten has a long history of providing quality programs to the children and families. We are managed by the YMCA of Ballarat Kindergarten Cluster and a voluntary committee. The committee is mainly comprised of parents and families of current children who attend the centre, as well as some community representatives, whose focus is on fundraising for the Pre-School.
We offer sessional kindergarten programs for children, catering for the diverse needs of families. Our kindergarten programs for Three-Year-Old children are two and a half hours per week and our Government funded Four-Year-Old programs provide fifteen hours per week. Our educational programs are play-based and focus on children’s strengths, needs and interests. The learning experiences provided for children are set up in beautiful and inviting ways. Equal importance is placed on both the inside and outside learning environments.
We build strong respectful partnerships with children and families and we have close ties with the local community. We have a strong partnership with the Inverloch Primary School which assists in children’s successful transition to school.
Our friendly educators are passionate about providing high quality programs for children and keeping up to date with current Early Childhood theory and practice. They work within relevant Government requirements, such as the Early Years Learning Framework, the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the National Quality Standards.
We also acknowledge that we work on the traditional lands of the Boonwurrung/Bunurong people, of the Kulin nation.
We welcome you to our kindergarten!
